New Executive Director and Sports
At a meeting of the Board of BFKK held in Plovdiv during the Republican championship for men and women, President of BFKK Mr. Vasil Mirchev proposed for the post of Executive Director of occupying Damian Damianov until being appointed Head of the Directorate of excellence Department of Physical Education and Sports Ms. Evelina Petrova. Ms. Petrova was chosen unanimously by the Board to assume the role of strategist BF canoeing.
Ms. Petrova many years helping canoeing Bulgarian sport is a great professional and is familiar with the work detailed in the Federation and Damian Damyanov will be part-time technical director, despite the great responsibility which will bear as a director of Toto BFKK will need his professional knowledge and technical and tactical advice. For BFKK Sports Director is Mr. Emil Mladenov who also took this position as a freelance director.
In welcoming the Board and Mr. Mirchev welcomed the Hungarian coach Laszlo Kovacs, who will assume national garnish with wishes to reach the high peaks of the upcoming World, European Championships and Olympic Games.
To give a report on the work of the new leadership after his election in May so far, "we're not brilliant presentation, but give the opportunity for all coaches and players", said Damian Damjanov.
Board gave a positive assessment of Andrian Dushev as coach of adolescents-Kayak unit won 2 seats in the eighth World Cup, Christian Dushev quota-winning children's Olympics in Singapore, Miroslav Kirchev for successful performance of European and world championships and the young hopeful George Velinov in canoe.
The new management has agreed to continue to work towards the vision and the structure of the canoe to the future development of athletes for sports realizirenie high success.

The selection of players and coaches for national team of Bulgaria in different ages will be conducted by Laszlo Kovacs on Regatta Nicolas Velev "in Plovdiv on 10 11.10.2009g in single-seat boats distances of 4000 meters and 200 meters.
On 12.12.2009g. in Novotel Plovdiv will be solemnly celebrated the 85th anniversary of the canoe in Bulgaria.
